??? What is the cost of a class ???
Classes are two hours and the cost is $25 plus $1.50 sales tax
??? Must I pay for a class that I miss ???
Yes, unless I am notified 48 hours prior, during which time I may be able to fill the vacant spot. A 48-hour notice means Monday students must notify me by the preceding Saturday, Tuesday students by Sunday, and Wednesday students by Monday.
??Can a student make up for a missed class??
It depends on availability of class space.
??? Do I need to provide my own sewing machine ???
No. I use top-of-the line, Bernina, Viking, Necchi, and Elna sewing machines.
??? Am I responsible for all supplies ???
Yes. I provide the equipment but students must bring their own pattern, fabric, thread, and all notions needed to complete their sewing project.
??? Do I have to know how to thread a sewing machine before I can take a class ???
No. You can be a brand-new sewist or you can have years of experience.
??? Does everyone make the same thing ???
No. Every student decides on her/his project. Since class size is limited to five, every student will have ample individualized instruction.
??? Are students required to take weekly classes ???
Students who attend on a weekly basis are given priority. If space is available, students may come every other week.
